Over half of all cats over the age of five and nearly 75% of dogs over the age of three have dental problems that require professional treatment. Untreated dental disease compromises the quality of an animal’s life and leads to pain, infection, tooth loss and potential infection to other organ systems. While the high quality diets we recommend can be very helpful in reducing dental disease, it is still very prevalent, especially in small dogs and cats.

Integration of Diet, Medical Advancements, and State-of-the-Art Equipment

Integrating good diet and natural care with state-of-the-art anesthesia and digital dental x-ray, Smith Ridge can provide the dental care your pet needs to live a happier and healthier life.

Digital Dental X-Ray

This allows us to precisely screen your pet for dental problems. If a problem appears, we will either treat the problem in-house, or, if complicated, refer you to a veterinary dental specialist. By having a digital dental x-ray in our clinic, we will be able to offer diagnostic dental x-rays at any time, but especially when performing other procedures which will reduce your costs and lower the anesthesia risk that a separate dental procedure would require.
